Conscience Point - A Novel

Rachel Jones is a woman with a plan. Smart, beautiful, driven, and the top marketer in the Hedge Fund world, she seemingly has it all. What she didn’t plan? Falling in love with Walter “Scallop” Koslowski, a local farmer, former Navy Seal and single father, while on a weekend work trip to the Hamptons. Despite being polar opposites, Rachel and Scallop fall for each other. Rachel’s friends and family tell her it’s impossible, even laughable, for her to be involved with Scallop, calling it her “mid-thirties crisis”. Those in Scallop’s inner circle are eager to see him find happiness after years of self-imposed isolation, but it isn’t clear he knows how. When an old acquaintance of Scallop’s dredges up unsavory details about his past, Rachel is forced to confront a dark secret and a relationship that could cost her everything. “Conscience Point” is a story about following your heart at all costs, how chance encounters can change our lives forever, and the sacrificial choices we make for love.
